Trip Times
Most trips leave the shop in Livingston around 8 A.M.
and get back around 5 or 6 P.M. Half day trips can start around 8 A.M.
or noon and last about five hours. Other arrangements can be made for
your guide
to pick you up or change the fishing hours.
What is included
An Orvis endorsed guide and transportation to and from
your fishing location are supplied. A streamside lunch and beverages are
included with all full day trips. Snacks and beverages are included in
all half-day trips.
What is NOT included
Montana fishing licenses, rental equipment, rod fees on
private water, terminal tackle (i.e. flies), and guide tips are not included.
Reservations
Advanced reservations are suggested due to the high demand
for guides in the area, but we will try our best to accommodate last minute
requests. A 50% deposit is required to reserve a guide with the balance
due upon departure. Long Outfitting has a 14-day cancellation policy.
Trips may be canceled due to weather conditions with your deposit either
being refunded or changed to a later date.
Casting and Fly-Tying Lessons
Long Outfitting offers individual and group lessons for
those interested in beginning or furthering their fly fishing and tying

Slide Shows and Group
Fly Fishing Instruction
We will travel anywhere in the United States to present
slide shows and teach large group fly fishing seminars to private clubs
and organizations. Our program can be tailored to meet your needs. Please
